Raw meat is a food that satisfies our pets’ eating habits, which have been developed over millions of years of living in the wild. A wolf in the forest hunts small animals that can be caught by eating them whole, leaving only the head cup and neck vertebrae for larger animals. 

Dogs have changed a lot in behaviour and appearance from wolves as a result of breeding, but their dietary needs have hardly changed at all. Despite the outward differences in breeds, the ancestors of all dogs and cats are wild animals with which they share a common genetic code.
